South Gippsland Supports

Our Team

Director / Early Childhood Practitioner / Disability Support Worker
Cheryl Brennan
I have worked in disabilities for over 25 years as a Disability Educator, Early Childhood Early Intervention Coordinator and now, at South Gippsland Supports.
I am a strong advocate for people with disabilities and their families. As a local I have genuine connections within my community and believe that everyone has the right to be included and contribute. I love seeing people’s confidence grow as they become more independent and empowered in their everyday lives. Seeing someone believe in themselves, building identity and achieve more that they thought possible is one of the best parts of this job for me.

I have lived my whole life in South Gippsland, always calling Foster home.
I'm a hands-on, creative person who loves art, the outdoors, dirt-bikes, camping, animals, music, plants and especially spending time with my dog Atlas. I have a positive and calm approach, and I pride myself on being a good listener, understanding, patient and compassionate. Respect, honesty, willingness to learn and a can-do attitude are central to who I am. I have a deep and personal understanding of diversity, disability, and the elderly. I've worked alongside Cheryl for many years and in various different areas which has shaped my work ethic and my commitment to helping others. I'm passionate about supporting people to gain confidence and independence and strive to create a safe, comfortable, and personable environment for everyone I work with.

Hayden Moorhouse
I am a compassionate and reliable Support Worker who is committed to helping people live more confident, independent, and fulfilling lives.
I grew up in Melbourne and moved to South Gippsland a few years ago, where I've enjoyed becoming part of the local community.
My passion for this work comes from both personal experience and genuine care for others. Having a younger brother with a disability has shaped the way I approach support - with patience, respect, and a strong belief in empowering people to be themselves and to thrive in their own way. Outside of work I love music, good food, and spending quality time with my young family. These parts of my life keep me grounded and help me connect with the people I support on a personal, human level.

I am a long-term Leongatha local and the mother of four adult children.
I enjoy cooking, crafting, and travelling to new places. Having grown up in South Gippsland, I have strong connections to the local community and have been actively involved in sporting and social groups through raising a family and friendships made.
I have worked as a teacher for over 20 years across both primary and specialist school settings. I am passionate about working with young people and bringing warmth, patience, and a compassionate, understanding approach to all situations. I am committed to providing respectful, reliable, and positive support, and I value building meaningful relationships by focusing on what matters most to each individual—whether that be community involvement, hobbies, social outings, or personal goals.

Hilary Skelton
I am a disability support worker who values connection, consistency, and practical, respectful support. I enjoy getting to know the people I work with and supporting them in a way that aligns with their goals, routines, and preferences.
With qualifications and experience in disability support, including work in SIL, respite, and day programs, as well as broad life experience, I bring a calm, open-minded, and reliable approach.
The joy in my work comes from supporting clients to achieve their goals and enabling them to live fulfilling lives.
Originally from New Zealand, I have lived in various locations around the world before making South Gippsland my home 17 years ago, where I now have a family. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the beach, walking in Wilsons Promontory, and drawing inspiration from the landscape for my print-making practice.
